Children of the Kingdom K-12 Program: It is our goal to provide kindergarten through high school education to as many children in Kenya as funds will allow. The scholarships are granted through government-sanctioned day and boarding schools. It costs $40 a month to sponsor a child.
Children of the Kingdom College Program: Those who do well at the high school level are considered for college education. Sponsors who have followed a child through 12th grade may decide to sponsor another child on the waiting list or may elect to continue to sponsor a student through college. Fees for colleges vary depending on the focus of study, but in general college tuition support is $80 a month.
Children of the Kingdom Family Support Program: In response to the great need of orphans in Turkanaland, Children of the Kingdom also established a family support program. As this program started in 2007, ten families were identified who had taken in a total of 37 children who were orphans. As they have opened their homes, they have set an example of servanthood and generosity for the community, and the program has continued to grow. This program also provides additional support to vulnerable families trying to provide for their own children. For just $20 a month, you can help provide basic needs for a child.
To sponsor a child, click on the desired PayPal option in the the menu below. Our sponsorship model operates so that students are empowered to select their sponsor. By selecting one of the options below, you will let us know which program you are able and willing to support and then we will share this information with our offices in Kenya and/or India. Instead of having new sponsors search photos of children on our waiting list and selecting one, you will be asked to send us a photo of yourself so that the children who are on the waiting list are able to choose. Then you will be informed about who has picked you.
