A Glimpse Into Our March Parents’ Meeting At the end of March, more than 80 parents gathered at the Children of the Kingdom meeting hall for a full day of learning, encouragement, and good conversation about how to support their children well. It was one of the most engaged and hope‑filled gatherings we’ve had in recent years — a reminder that when families grow stronger, communities do too. Director Veronica Lemuya celebrated improved high school exam results and spoke honestly about challenges students face today, including phone usage, integrity, and relationships. Sound familiar?! Pastor Kimani encouraged parents to rebuild strong, faith‑filled relationships with their children, reminding them that “our actions speak louder than words.” Parents asked thoughtful questions about mentorship and discipline, and Children of the Kingdom shared updates on expanding mentorship programs into local schools. Why This Matters
Gatherings like this are more than meetings — they are moments of formation. They strengthen the partnership between parents, mentors, and the ministry. They help families feel seen, supported, and equipped. And they remind us that the work of Children of the Kingdom is not only about school fees; it is about holistic care, spiritual growth, and community transformation. To our sponsors: Your generosity makes this kind of gathering possible. You help create spaces where parents learn, children are encouraged, and hope takes root.
